Date night

Photobucket

We made plans to go out Friday night. Then the plans kinda fell thru for one of the kids so we called off all of them. Oh but how do you tell a 3 year old never mind. You can imagine. So Carolina ended up going to stay the night with Elijah. Then Caylea was so upset but I already told Heather she wasn't coming so Amanda was said she can come with us. So Caylea was off to stay the night with Sam. That left my Baby Caden. First we thought we can just take him with us. Although that is still a night out with one kid instead of three it limited us to where we could go. I wanted Mexican or Chinese food(and Caden can't have either). So Anthony called his parents and they said they could keep Caden for a few hours.

We went to Chelinos it was very yummy. Just as good as I remembered (although I don't' remember the last time I had Mexican ~ maybe vacation last year). It was a very nice dinner my husband and I got to chat without being interrupted. That doesn't happen often around our house. I love my kids to death and we are trying to learn patience and how to be polite but as any parent knows that comes with time.

Anyways after dinner we went by Target to buy a blu-ray to watch but they didn't have any so I suggested that we pick up Caden and go up to Wal-mart and see if they have anything good there.

First though Anthony spotted pole position he mentioned that he wished he could take Caden there and race. I was like well he can't race but it's the perfect time to take him there and let him watch the go-karts.

Caden loves watching Nascar with Anthony it's so cute he holds up his fist and yells GO-GO-GO!!! Caden loved it there he couldn't hardly take his eye's off of the cars. He kept saying wow and just staring at them. You could just see his little mind working!

Daddy and Bubba at Pole Position

I honestly think that Caden enjoyed watching those go-karts as much as Anthony enjoyed watching Caden watch them!

After that our walmart trip ended just like our Target trip had earlier in the night(no blu ray). But it was okay because by then it was after 10:00 anyways. We just came home got the Bubby in bed I hopped on the computer to chat with my friend and relax and Anthony played some x-box live with one of his friends. Till it was time for bed. . .

Spending this week with my kids. . .I feel so blessed to get to be home with my kids everyday. I know that not everyone is as lucky as I am and get to spend everyday with their babies. And far to soon these little people that I call my babies will be grown.

Lo's

Realizing that my kids listening skills are not up to par. . .mostly Carolina but not only her. And it's my fault so buckling down on her has became a much needed necessity. For her own good as well as ours as her parents.

My Grandparents health is not too good. I need to make more time to make more visits. All I can do is pray for them really but it's just sad they have always been there and it's hard to think that their bodies are growing older.

It made my kids day!

My kids are always asking to go see Daddy at work. We usually can not go because well we have 3 kids and he is busy at his office. However Anthony called us today and said why don't you guys come by and visit. So I packed everyone up and we headed up to Daddy's work.

As I am sure you can imagine this made my kids day. They were so excited to get up there at one point Carolina even thought I was going the wrong way and got upset. Thankfully we found it :) No one wanted to leave and the visit was short but very exciting for 3 little kids that I know :)

Here is Caylea playing with some of the smaller valve parts that Anthony sales.

Happy Birthday Rae

We had a Small Birthday dinner for my friend! Her Birthday is today but of course it's hard to celebrate a Birthday on Sunday so we went out on Friday night. It was a great night to let her know we loved and cared about her and to chat with some of the most awesome women I know. I am so very blessed that God has put some amazing people in my life.

So Happy Birthday Rae you are a true friend! I know that our friendship has been thru it's up's and down's over the years. God always finds away to help us mend our friendship when we are too stubborn to work it out. I have no doubt that God has blessed me with a life long friend in you! I love you and I hope you have the best year!

Your gonna miss this

I am going to totally miss taking my kids to the park and seeing the pure joy in them as they play. I know I still have some years left of watching this and being able to do this with/for them but this is surely one of the things that I am going to miss sometime down the road.

A picture change

My friend informed me that I needed a new picture on my blog. I had my sister take this one this morning. I don't LOVE the glare on Caylea's glasses so I will be trying to get a new picture to replace it soon but I thought that Rae would apprieciate the attempt to replace our older picture :)

My mom's best friend since they were in 3rd grade called and wanted us all to come to her house for lunch today. At first I thought this lady is crazy you want six kids 5 and under in your house do you know what that means for your house. Then when I got there I realized what she wanted to do with our kids.

Photobucket

You may think that your eyes are deceiving you but they are not that is our children in a doggie kennel. In reality of course she did not want them to come over so that she could put them in the doggie kennel (although at times I wished I had a kennel that size - oh wait we kinda do it's called a crib). They had a blast in that thing she said her dog's don't use it anymore but boy did the children love it.

Photobucket

We had a nice time visiting with Diane and catching up. Truthfully I spent a whole lot of my life hanging out with her and her family for the first oh 20 years of my life or so-of course I love them all. I wish that we saw all of them more often. Hopefully we will make more time for hanging out in the future. We had some yummy pizza from Papa Murphy's I love them and I am so very pleased with their food allergy awareness. I have never had a problem with their food with my children. I tried a new pizza today that I have never had it was called Mediterranean Chicken and it was the best ever!

Photobucket

Of course my Caden boy found the TV, the plug-in's the organ and he even swiffer vac'd the floors for Diane. He is always into something. . .Boys~whatcha gonna do?

A few of my other favorite pic's from today are this one of Carolina, Brandy and Sarah. I think Sarah has Carolina figured out and knows that she is as crazy as she really is.

And this is what my Bubba looks like when he says Cheese :)

And here he is driving this is his new "thing" and he has to drive for a minute before you put him in his carseat (with his seatbelt on). Trust me it's much easier this way. So after saying that I will share that I know he is rotton and I am okay with that :) Seriously he does have to mind just as my girls do. But I am okay with Baby-ing him as long as he will allow. Because after all he is my baby.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday. . .

We couldn't of asked for better weather for the zoo yesterday. It was the most perfect day outside. Brandy, Amanda, Nancy (Brandy's Mother in law) and I all enjoyed our 6 children plus little Gabriel as we walked around the zoo.
