Meeting Manuel

Amy is my brother in law's sister and we go to church with them also!! I was so excited to get to meet Manuel this week.  He is so perfect and precious!  I can't wait to get to snuggle him some more!

Summer was made for Swimming

. . .Well maybe not made for swimming but it sure is something enjoyable to do in the hot heat of a summer day! 

The kids and I enjoyed such a day last week and I enjoyed taking these pictures!

This one was taken during a safety break.  I love that our new neighborhood pool has 2 lifeguards on duty during all open hours.  If you are under 16 you have to get out for 10 minutes every so that they can stretch and maybe get a snack!  I think this is perfect!  

It is a wonderful way to break up the kids swimming so that we can reapply sunblock, have a snack or even tell them we will leave next safety break. No arguments then!  

Caleb did amazingly not that I expected any less.  He pretty much stuck to the steps this is when he came and sat by me in the shade he looked too cute I had to get up and get a good angle for a picture!

Fun Zoo Day with Cousin Khloe and Allison

We had a great time at the zoo today with Allison and Khloe.

Caden really enjoyed pushing Khloe in her car stroller!  She was tired by the end but she was so very good!!!

A Ride Around The Lake

I would of just liked to stay in my jammies all day after the busy week and leaving my friends so making me a little sad.  However my husband had a great idea to get out and take the kids to Lake Hefner to ride bikes.  It was a great time and I think I need a bike!!!  

The kiddos have gotten so big since last time we took them there to ride.  Before we moved Caden did not ride a bike he sat in the wagon or stroller.  Also both of the girls had training wheels when we moved to Louisiana.  Now not one of them has training wheels.  

We packed a lunch and had it at the lake.  It was a beautiful day!  Not too hot as I was expecting!

Our First Trip Back To Louisiana

Last Sunday we all got to go with Anthony to Louisiana he had to go back for work.  This is his first trip since the kids have been out of school.  It had been 3 months.  However seeing old friends seemed like it had just been yesterday.  

We got to our hotel and had time to unpack and get ready before heading to church.  It was great to see and hug everyone.  We enjoyed services and Anthony got to play with the praise band.  It was great!! After services we headed to hang out with Marcie and Kelly and their families and Shawna. We were out way to late for the working people but we had a lot of fun visiting and a lot of laughs!

Monday we went to visit Mrs. Miller.  She was Caylea's 3rd grade teacher and when I heard she was moving to 4th grade the next year I requested her and we got her.  She was such a blessing to our family.  Helping me get use to leaving my children in care of the school was an adjustment for me more than them!  

The kids and I then met Marcie and her kids and Kelly and her kids at the pool in our hotel.  We had a great afternoon and everyone even enjoyed some pizza by the pool.  The pool was a little chilly for the adults to swim for very long but the kiddos did not mind at all!

Later that night we met for Yogurt at Red Mango and then went to buffalo wild wings to umm. . .eat dinner lol

Tuesday we met some of our old school friends for lunch!

After lunch we went to see EPIC it was a cute movie and the girls and Caden enjoyed it and spending time with each other!

Teusday night we went up to the church.  Anthony played music with the band.  It was wonderful to watch and so glad we went up there!!

I recorded a few of the songs they played.  I requested Revelation Song it is my favorite praise and worship song!

Wednesday Morning we got up and went to visit with some of our old neighbors.  A lot of them were not home but we got to see a few of them!

Wednesday night after church Marcie, Me and Kelly!  I love these ladies they are such sweet friends.  Even though it had been months since I had seen them it seemed like it was just yesterday! Precious God sent friends! 

Thursday morning we got up and headed home!  It was a short but very fun filled trip!
