What a beautiful Zoo day it was today!

I made a new slide show today. . .I took the kids to the zoo it was a beautiful day outside. For some reason I thought the almost hot days were gone but we ended the day at 2pm at almost 80 degrees. Caden and Carolina even had flushed cheeks wow! I am so blessed to have such great kids to spend the day with :)

Oh and Caden has his first chip today! He loved it and did great eating it :)

What a year. . .

Photobucket
What a year this has been. My little 15 month old son is growing up so fast. I have been dreading his growing since the day he was born. I knew it would all happen way too fast! And it is he is proving to just grow just as quickly as his sisters are.

As the weather has been cooling off I have been getting more and more stressed with all that comes with it. Holiday's (our first with 2 children with food allergies) and cold and flu season. All this stress has been overwhelming.
First off I have to say that this last year has been one of the hardest years of my life physically, emotionally and spiritually. Not only coming to grips with the fact that I will not be having anymore children but also the way that came about. Time and love heals the later the first has come with realization that I am totally happy with the 3 little blessings that I have. My coming to grips with that was more realizing that it wasn't more children that I necessarily wanted it was not wanting my children to grow up. Not only are they growing but they are growing so fast. All I can do is hang on to each day as long as the day gives sun and make as many good memories with my children and husband as I can (oh and take 1,000 pic's a day ~ so I can remember).

Secondly the whole food allergy challenges we have had this year. They have sent me on a huge roller coaster of emotions since march. Thankfully I have found a wonderful support group of women who know exactly what I am going thru and that seems to help more than I could of imagined. It's kind of one of those things that you have no idea what it's like unless your there. Food allergies at least severe ones change so much of the way you do things. Before we knew about them we ate with friends or by ourselves on the spur of the moment but now that isn't possible with out preparations. This group of women has also shown me that it could be worse there are kids that can only eat 4 or 5 foods the rest are off limits for either allergies or celliac. I am mostly thankful that my are healthy as long as we strictly avoid the things they are allergic to they are fine. Now it's time for mom to teach them how to be safe for themselves.
Anyways, I unfortunately found my way to the bottom of my barrel and the One Person I can count on no matter what was there ready to take on my load. I feel so blessed that I can call myself a child of God. He is always there for me no matter what and is willing to carry the load when I just can't.
I am so blessed that He has given me a wonderful supportive group of family and friends that love my family and I. They love me on my good days and my bad days (sorry guys there have been quite a few of those over the past year). And I love them even more now for that. So please if God lays it on your heart please keep praying for me and my family. . .your prayers are working!
Goodnight my friends (((hugs)))

6th year Anniv.

I am so excited Anthony and I are going on a date tonight. My sister Brandy is keeping the kids for us. I am not exactly sure what we are doing probably going out to eat (stress free at a place the kids couldn't eat at -chinese, boy do I miss my chinese food) and then probably a movie! YIPPEE!

Looking back at wedding pic's these days makes me a little sad. I got so wrapped up in taking care of my kids and not taking care of myself at all. Now that we are done having kids and Caden is done nursing I think it's time to start taking better care of myself. I will never probably weigh under 120 lbs again but I do plan on losing some weight and of course some other things that need to be done to make me feel more like a woman instead of just a mom. Not that being a mom is bad but feeling like that is all you are can be taxing on a person over a long period of time.

Anyways here is a pic of us 6 years ago today with litterly ~no care's in the world~ (excuse my picture of a picture it's all I have right now) :)

Saturday was Elijah's birthday party he is now 3 years old. What a big boy he wanted a Dragon Tales party it was so cute. I can't believe he is already 3 though and Carolina is only a month behind him. It was a great party for the buddy boy! He had a great time playing with his friends, cousins and family. My kids had a great time playing and I had a great time visiting. :) Oh and of course the boy made out like a bandit :)

Monday my brother in law WA came back from Iraq. We didn't make it to the 8:30 ceremony but we went to his Aunt's house after that to visit with him and it was wonderful to see my sister Stephanie have her family all together again. Both Aaron and WA left last fall and came back a short visit for Christmas and then were off to Iraq. Aaron got home the end of Aug. and WA is now back. I (and the rest of my family) are so thankful to see them both back safely.

Caden enjoyed his first cookie since we found out about his allergies (actually 3 of them). They made him sick before because of the egg and since then he wouldn't even try them (still won't eat cake). I gave him a bite and he spit it out and then was reaching for it. I think he spit it out out of reaction and then tasted how yummy it was so gave it a try. I am so excited to find cookies that are safe for both of them. I thought for sure that egg less cookies would be hard to come across.

Tuesday was a great day my 3 kiddos and I just hung out around the house and played games. It was a very nice relaxing day. That evening we had 2 friends Ash and Anna come over and play while their mommy and daddy went out on a date. It was alot of fun watching Caylea play with Ash they played dress up for a long time, then barbies, of course dolls, puzzles and you can't forget the coloring :) I had a lot of fun playing with Anna, Caden and Carolina they are so freaking cute! They loved the vacuum, bubble gum popper and guitar the best of all the toys.

Wednesday is our day to go to my mom's for the day and spend time with my sisters, mom, nephews and niece. It is such a great time we have just letting the kids run around and play together they have a blast. I have a great time visiting with my mom and sisters and of course seeing/playing with my nephews and niece also. Gotta love snuggling with the Sarah bear (the others are usually running around too much to snuggles with Auntie Chan). After hanging out it was time for Brandy and Amanda to head home for naps (oh like at 330 or 4) so then Caylea did her school. I was looking at it and it looks like we will be ready to start first grade in about a month. She is doing great with her school and memorizing her verses for Light Brigade. Then it was time for church the kids had fun like always. After that it was time for the grocery store. Going to the grocery store after church with my 3 and then my sister and her one 1 year old went surprisingly well. They were pooped and ready for bed when we got home though.

Thursday we started something new and fun. I am so excited my friend Whitnee came over and we cut and organized (well I still have a ways to go) our coupons and Melissa(((http://www.consumerqueen.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=10))) answered questions on IM that we had while doing it. The kids just ran around and played while we worked on it. I think it took a surprisingly long time but only when I looked at the clock because we were so busy talking/cutting/organizing that time flew. The day was almost over before we realized it and we barely had time to make one "quick" trip to homeland before time to get home and get dinner made. We haven't gotten it all figured out yet but I did get these four items for $3.75 which is less than what the toothpaste was originally. I can't wait to learn more about it and really get started.

I am going to make another post for today (Friday) but I have to get the pic's uploaded and re-sized first I am not sure that is going to get done tonight.
I will give a hint though Caylea has a new look. . .Update soon :)
See you soon my friends (((hugs)))

Did you know that "For Christ Jesus came into the world to save Sooners" . . .a mispronounced word makes all the difference. . .It is suppose to be "For Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" of course

At the zoo yesterday Carolina wanted baby wipes to clean her feet as you can see they got kind of dirty in her "crocks". Caden took a nap in his stroller I can't remember last time he did that :) The picture of Carolina holding her bow was because she was afraid the wind was going to blow it away . . .lol :)
