Thankfulness

I am so thankful that God has blessed me with so much more than I deserve in my life. I am far from perfect but I am so extremely blessed. Although my nature is to focus on the bad and negative things in life it is not impossible to focus on the good things life brings. It is just takes work sometimes a lot of it but it is worth it!

I am thankful for so many things. First of all a Father in Heaven who loves me so much more than I could even imagine and forgives me of all of my many shortcomings. A Father who even though he knows how imperfect I am chooses to bless me every single day anyways.

I am so thankful that He has given me eyes to see the blessings and focus on those more than the cursings that are so present in this life. Even through the move to a new state this last summer I can see how God has used it to shape and mold me into what He wants me to be. I know our family needed a fresh start. I thank God that He allowed me to see that because if it had happened any earlier I most likely would of moved kicking and screaming. God is so good to me!

I am so thankful for these three!

Caylea

Carolina

Caden

I maybe a little biased I realize but I have to say that these three kids are the most beautiful and perfect children that I have ever met. If I could chose out three children in the whole world to be mine these three would be my choice. Talk about being blessed! GOD IS SO GOOD!

I am so thankful that God has put people in our life that love us unconditionally. We are so blessed to have those people in our lives. It seems that moving out of state teaches you a lot about the seasons of life and while some are easy to learn and easy to leave behind others a little more difficult and I am just so thankful for God's mercy in getting through even the difficult times and allowing me and my family to see the blessings and have thankful hearts.

I am so thankful to that God blessed us with a wonderful church family in Louisiana. I can truly say that it feels like home at Midcity Baptist Church and it feels like family. I can feel love and caring from the members that and I can not wait to grow those relationships even more for as long as God has us there (maybe for the rest of our lives).

I am so thankful that I have gotten to spend these last several days with my family including a zoo trip with my Sister Brandy and my Sister in Law Rachel (and all of our children) today.

(I tried to upload more pictures from the zoo however it is taking too long so I will have to add them later. )

We all had so much fun today. The weather was so beautiful and the company was even better!

I am so looking forward to the next several days. I better get to bed now I do not even know why I am still awake I am a night owl but not usually this late. Nighty-Night My Friends!

I hope all of your Thanksgivings are blessed!

Can't wait!

Monday the kids and I will be heading back to Oklahoma for a little over a week. I can not wait to see everyone! It is so awesome how Louisiana feels like home now. We love it here. If I could get a few people to move here with me it would be perfect! Well I would also add a zoo 10 minutes from my house if I was making wishes.

It is funny last week I heard my husband say that he didn't think we would be living in this house long that we will be buying a newer house. Later I told him that I love this neighborhood that I would love to stay here and just update the house in time. I think this is just a lovely area!

Some of the tree's are starting to turn now. There are tons of tall tall pine tree's that of course will not turn. I love that the weather is so nice now. Evenings are a little chilly however most of the days are very fall like days.

I will soon be posting about Carolina's 5th Birthday. I am still in shock that my baby girl is 5! It just doesn't seem at all possible!

More than Sisters-Best of Friends!

The past few weeks have been so much fun! It started with Melissa and Daniel visiting and then my sister Brandy and her family came in town last week (for a whole week! WOOT!)

I got to snuggle with this little man a ton! I didn't put him down more than I had to the whole week. . .such a sweet little guy!

One day we decided to pack up and head to the Gators and Friends. It was such a nice day outside and the place was almost empty of other visitors. I got a ton of great pictures from the day however I am just going to share these few of the kids holding the baby gator. These pictures do not have the clarity that I usually post but they are still super cute!

Brandy and I took a little time to get a few pictures of us with our children.

I had such a great week with my sister and our families. I can't wait to go to Oklahoma and spend some time with Brandy and the rest of my family next week. I really thought I was going to get all caught up on here tonight. However that is not going to happen I am way too tired from Carolina's busy Birthday day. So I will work on getting caught up tomorrow and maybe even the next day.

I will just close by saying that I am so thankful to God for blessing my family and I so much. I absolutely love my life.

Our Girls Shopping Day

Anthony's cousin Melissa and her husband came into town last night to stay with us until Sunday. The guys had planned to go to a football game on Saturday. So Melissa and I decided that they guys could keep the kids on Friday so we could go shopping. Anthony had to work in the morning but that was okay because we were up late the night before anyways so we all slept in.

When we left we knew that the at&t store was first on our list because I wanted an Iphone. So we went there. Then we went to the boardwalk to hit the outlet stores. I found so many clothes for my kids it was great. I even got something for myself. I will finish my shopping at another store. Melissa got her a few items and her son Ryan a few items. My kids are even all set for Christmas!

At some point we decided we were hungry. So we debated where to eat. I am on a diet so we were taking that into consideration. We eventually decided Fuddruckers was the place to go.

I got this delicious Taco salad (Minus the shell). . .Melissa got a burger and fries. . .her's looked great also. . .I didn't take a picture though. (You know I took a picture with my new phone since I wanted to play with it!)

We shopped and shopped and shopped until it was way past dark and my hands felt like they were going to fall off because of the weight of the bags! Then we headed to pick up dinner, go by walmart for some breakfast items and head back to the house.

We watched a movie tonight. . .I didn't realize I had already seen it however it was a good movie so I didn't mind watching it again :)

It was a great day I needed some time to relax and enjoy myself and today I got that! Thanks Melissa for hanging with me and Thank you to Daniel and Anthony for taking great care of the kids. They had a fun day!

She Asked Jesus Into Her Heart

My oldest Daughter Caylea that is.

She has been asking a lot of questions since last spring when a family member died suddenly.

I wasn't sure she was ready so I answered her questions honestly. However when it came down to doing it I would tell her we needed to talk with Pastor. Her Dad and I were concerned about her not truly being ready because she is only 7.

In this time we moved states and went through the process of changing churches. So obviously we weren't at our former church with our Pastor that I trusted so much with this important time in my daughters life.

So the other day she was asking questions again. Every since that moment I knew I needed to have our Pastor talk with her. Tonight only Caylea and I went to church because Carolina had ran a fever the night before. During invitation I was praying and God was telling me without a shadow of a doubt to speak with Brother David.

I asked her a few more questions during invitation and her answers sealed it. So I asked Brother David if he would speak with her and see if she was truly ready. He took her into the sanctuary and spoke with her. I thought she would be most honest and comfortable talking with him alone. So I talked excitedly with another mom in the breezeway about their experiences when their children got saved.

Then my little precious 7 year old girl came walking out with the Pastor he had a big smile on his face and shook his head yes. I said what happened Caylea she said proudly "I asked Jesus into my heart". I gave her a hug and told her how happy I was for her. She then called her daddy. Our family is so blessed to have this precious, tender hearted girl in our family. I know in my heart she will do great things for God with her sweet spirit!

Our family is blessed for each of it's members I can't thank God enough for blessing me so much more than I could ever deserve!

My Ni~Na Bear

My poor baby woke up with a sick tummy today. At first I thought it was from the candy from last night. However by evening she was running a fever so I knew it wasn't the candy. It seems she gets sick more often than either of my other children. Thankfully she seems to get well quickly . . .I guess it gives me more opportunity to snuggle and love on my almost 5 year old baby girl!

This evening Caylea went to the neighbors house to play for several hours. Lucky girl even got some homemade spaghetti sauce and noodles from a real Italian. . .she may not like my jarred version anymore. . .hmmmm. . .I wouldn't blame her :) Rosa said she would teach me how to make things so I should get help with sauce :)

Revival is this week and so the kids and I missed service tonight. Anthony got to go hopefully Carolina will wake up well and we can go tomorrow night!
