WOW

I do not know how I have gotten so behind on my blog. . .here are a few highlights from last month

March 2012

Happy 5th Birthday to our

Misty Mae . . .we don't exactly know when her birthday is.  We do know she was 2 1/2 when we got her.  I chose St. Patrick's day to celebrate her Birthday so we would remember.

She loved her peanut butter on toast :)

We spent some time today picking out tile, wood floors and paint for our house.  I can not wait for it to all be completed!!!!

Keeping those kiddos happy while we decide on tile.

Lowe's trip. . .the kids really wanted to sit in this basket . . .it lasted a whole maybe 3 minutes.  I thought it was pretty cute though!

It's not too often I find my 6 year old playing with Barbie's (unless she has friends over).

Tonight she was all ready for bed.

I was working on something with Caylea.

Went to check on Carolina.

This is was what I found!

Love her and as close as I am to throwing out all the probably close to a hundred Barbie's.

It's not time yet!

March 19, 2012

Today I got to be the chaperon on Caylea's class's field trip to the Sci-Port.

I had such a great time helping and watching her with her friends!

A very special day!

So Proud

Caylea was promised that when she made A/B honor roll she could have a bunny.

So one day last month we had to go bunny shopping. . .

Not that I minded at all. . .I actually wanted  a bunny. . .

I have every since last spring when I fell in love with a dwarf bunny at the pet store.

Caylea your Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.  I know it's been a struggle at times to figure things out.  However you have rose above and beyond!

Keep up the good work sweet heart!

Of course none of that would be possible without an EXCELLENT teacher like Mrs. Miller!

She is truly a blessing to our family!

March 13

Doing a little "catch up" on March 13 I started teaching Caden to read.  Getting him ready for Kindergarten next year.  He is doing great!  We went to Oklahoma for spring break and sadly I didn't keep up and we are re-modeling our house so it's been crazy.  Plan to get back on schedule Monday!  (and back to the gym!)

That day we also hung out with our friends Leah and Aubrey.  We rode bike's to their house after hanging out at our house for a bit.

Fun with Aubrey!

Wooden Big Toy and Awanas

On Monday's when Caylea and Carolina have running club.  Caden and I are usually working on stapling and collating papers in the teachers lounge.  Last week there were only a few stacks of papers so I took Caden out to the playground during running club.  I went by to tell the girls where to find me when they were done.  Carolina decided the playground was more fun than running club.  Caylea wanted to stay with her friends.

Carolina going down the fire mans pole.  I loved watching her do it.  Caylea has never been one to enjoy this particular thing.  So watching my Ni-Na love it was so fun!

Then Carolina, Caden and I spent the rest of the time on the Wooden toy.  Carolina says that Kindergarteners aren't allowed to play on this toy during recess.  I can actually see why the bridge is very slippery for little ones.  Carolina and Caden loved it but it took them a few times to figure it out.

My monkey girl!

So fun!

Happy girl

Carolina loves her Misty Mae.  We are so blessed to have her in our family.

Before church last Wednesday I took these pictures.

I love my 3 blessings!

They were bribed but they went to their class.  The church we have been visiting has Awana.  I love that there are so many kids there for them to make friends with.  We had to bribe them to get them to stay but nothing some after church ice cream couldn't take care of.

Best Zoo Day!

Saturday we had the chance to meet my sister and her kids at the Zoo in Tyler, Tx.  It was so great!  Zoo Day's around here are few and far between and can't beat a zoo day with my sister!

The kids and I actually do not miss the zoo as much as we use to.  We have adjusted to not having one close to us.  We have found other things to keep us busy.  However a Zoo Day will not be turned down by my kids and I!  Especially when we have such awesome company to share it with.

Caylea and Sarah petting the goats.

Praying before lunch

Zebra's they were really close to us!

Carolina loved pushing her baby cousin around in the stroller.

Such a sweet baby boy!

Caden was so great most of the day.  However one time he wanted to play hid n seek.  Well that does not go well in the zoo.  He got in a little trouble and had to miss feeding the birds.  I think he will remember next time though.  Thankfully God was watching my baby boy even the minutes I didn't have my eye's on him!

Sweet Cousins!  (another one of those pictures that I hate that I had the aperture set to low ~ Live and learn)

Sweet Sarah and her matching Fancy Nancy ~ Too cute!

Carolina and Sarah having a little rest.

Monkey girl always finds a way to have fun!

Love these girls!

Loving The Busy Life

I think Caylea does also.

I love this picture :)

Last week Caden and I had a lunch play date with a friend from our previous church.  Caden had so much fun with his friend Braden.  Braden is home schooled so we had a nice long visit.

Caden my happy bubby :)

Carolina on Dr. Seuss's Birthday . . .that is a green egg.  She didn't eat it.  She really did not even want to touch it but I talked her into holding it for a picture then she gave it to a friend who wanted it.

Carolina with a few of her "Thing 1" or "Thing 2" friends.  Katheryn, Brooke and Aubrey

Caden had some fun in the front yard one day while I was cleaning in the garage.

Carolina is so talented :)

One day while Anthony was playing a late golf game I took the kids to the park.  I normally would of had them change out of their uniforms first however it was a spur of the moment type thing.

Fun little monkey's

I love this picture it is my favorite from this day!
