It's been a great week. I took the kids to the park on Monday and they had a blast playing with their cousins and some friends. After that we "ran" by our friends house where Carolina had left her Bear-bear the night before. Carolina doesn't do too well without her friend. Then we made a wal-mart run quickly. I ended up running into another friend so the trip took a little longer than I was hoping but it flew by because we were busy chatting and shopping :) Fun right?
Tuesday we had some fun watching news all afternoon. I was surprised later to learn how close the tornado was to my house. Come to find out it hit the chuck e cheese we were just at a month or so ago for Samuel's birthday and that is not very far from my house at all. On the news it looked like to me it was further away than that. After that happened I asked my husband if he could possibly miss class and come home for the evening and he did. My in-law's lost power and my husband invited them over to watch a movie so we all had a good time watching Batman. I had the kids go to bed after a bit because I was worried that the joker would scare them. He kinda freaks me out. I get anxious and have to leave the room for parts of the movie but over all I enjoyed it.
We went to visit my Grandma and Grandpa Apple in Moore yesterday. It was a very nice visit a little short because I had to get the kids home for a decent nap. I am truly working on a better schedule for the girls. Caden doesn't stay up late but the girls do. When I got home and checked the mail I got the sweetest card from my friend it was so encouraging and sweet. It just made my day!

Then we had church and it was Valentines time so the kids handed their valentines out (well actually Carolina's got left in her bag) but they got lots of goodies :) I also got a gift from my secret pal it was very sweet and thoughtful. I am so glad that I have decided to do secret pal's this year. It is really nice to know that there is someone else praying for our family.

When we got home and got the kids in bed my husband said he had a surprise for me and he covered my eyes and had me come into the dinning room. Then he uncovered my eyes and on the table was the cutest little Valentines Day Cake and a scrapbook. He had his Aunt Patsy put together for me. I loved it it was super sweet and I was truly surprised. I honestly didn't suspect a thing. I probably should of because my best friend asked me for pictures of Anthony and I a while ago. I gave them too her had no idea what she was doing and somehow mostly forgot about it.
Anthony took off work today and tomorrow so this morning we got up and went to lunch at Mazzios. It was great after the wait to speak with the manager and checking all the ingredients and such. That always takes a while but thankfully my kids were patient today and it went smoothly. I found out that Caden does not want cheese sticks he only wants real pizza and he doesn't like suckers (which is fine with me). Caylea loves it all and is getting so big wanting to put her own Parmesan on her pizza. Carolina is such a great age she sees Caylea putting Parmesan on her pizza so what does she do pick up the salt and dump it all over her food. UGH! 3 year old's right?!?!
After lunch we came home and it was nice outside so I had Caylea go in and get our Angel and bring her out and the kids and I enjoyed playing in the front yard for a while. When we came in it was almost time for naps. Caylea had been waiting all day for her surprise. I didn't tell her what it was and when we left the house she guessed all the way there. When we got off of the highway she thought we were going to the zoo and wondered why we wouldn't bring Carolina and Caden. Then we pulled into Tinseltown she was so excited just giggling the whole way. When we got up there she wanted to order the tickets and carry them. She is getting so big. I so love the little bit of time that I get to spend with this amazing 5 year old. It seems that while we are out together she seems almost grown up. I know she is not but she just acts so much older. We really enjoyed the movie I think I may have just encouraged her love for Dogs though by taking her to see it. What I don't understand is why do I always seem to cry when I take my Daughter to the movie. They are not sad not at all . . . What is up with me?
