So we got all the groceries we needed and some luxery items (ie movies, popcorn) all out and ready for this big snow storm that was going to leave us house bound for at least a day. HA HA!!
Needless to say no snow ever stuck to the ground! The kids were all geared up to bundle up and build a snow man today. . .didn't happen! They were obviously dissapointed.
Oh well the day left me feeling recharged because I got to cuddle with my hubby and watch two movies in between playing games with the kids and giving baths(ex. . .ie being a mommy). I am fixing to cuddle with my hubby on the couch and watch our 3rd movie for the day. I don't think we have ever watched 3 movies in one day!
In fact I only jumped on the computer a few times here and there to check on some babies that I have been praying for.
Okay I am off to enjoy the rest of this "WINTER STORM" LOL
Ashley went home today . . .from what I can tell from reading her blog.
Ashley's mom has posted some other children that can use our prayers on her blog if you want to visit there and get the list.
Stellan had a rough day . . .God is good and his family is strong but they all still need as many pray warriors as they can get.
I found a new background for my blog today.
We played at a park that is about 1/2 a mile from our house this morning
I will make a post about our trip there later tonight
We are so excited!!
There are two babies that could really use our prayers right now
You can find their blog links on the right side of my blog

God Bless!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I most certainly did not put off writing my Not Me Monday post until early evening on Tuesday. I would never do that! I LOVE blogging and I would never go more than a day between posts on our family blog.
I most certainly did not think that my 3 year old daughter ate over a whole pack of sugar free gum last night. . .nope not me b/c if I did I surely would of been freaking out and calling the ped. ASAP. . .only to find out that she just opened all of the pieces and left the trash in her bedroom floor and put all of the gum back into the diaper bag. . .Most certainly this would never happen in my house I watch my children much better than that.
My daughter did not take the IOWA test last week and if she did I most certainly can not wait to get the results back to prove to my husband that we have a smart daughter that is doing very well home schooling and not every home school child suffers academically from being home schooled. Nope not me I would never feel the need to prove my ability to home school our 5 year old first grader to my husband.
I most certainly did not let my 20 month old scream and cry while holding on to the vacuum cleaner for a good 10 minutes hoping he would give up. . .Nope I defiantly would of given into him and stayed there ALL DAY! And while we were there cleaning the mission cottage I defiantly would not have been oblivious that he also unplugged the refrigerator for our Pastors wife to find the next day. NO!!! I would defiantly of realized he did that.
I DO NO just give up sometimes and let my son plug in (and unplug. . .repeatedly) his vacuum cleaner after HE TAKES OUT the child protectors. NOPE not me I would never allow him to be in danger like that.
I do not enjoy putting baby magic on my son even though I know it's not good for his skin just so I can smell him. I would never be so selfish as to do that just for my smelling pleasure!
I do not sit next to my daughter and write a not me Monday post while she working on her school work not me I am a much better teacher than that I never let myself be distracted during her "school time". Of course if I did that I would be at her beck and call for any questions or encouragement :)
(picking up Caylea and Charity on their first day of the Iowa test . . .nope those are NOT words)
