My Handsome Boy

If you know my son you know that he is no fan of being still. Since he was 11 months old and endured an allergy test it has been so hard to trim his nails, weigh or measure him at the doctors office. Actually I do not think a doctor has came near the boy with out water works in 2 years.

So when my son stayed bald for so long it was no big deal. He has only needed a few trims so far. The first one that my friend did he actually did awesome for. However the next two that I took him to a hair place were horrible.

So since we have moved I have just put it off since he wears his hat most of the time anyways. The other day however I noticed his hair curling up behind his hat and looking pretty bad. I kept asking him if we could get his hair cut. He was not game and I had no interest in fighting him.

So imagine my surprise when the other night I said "Can Mommy cut your hair like I use to do Daddy's?" and my Big Caden boy said "Yes Mommy"

He was looking in the mirror in the bathroom while I was cutting it and when I was almost done I said what do you think baby. . .he said "I look Handsome Mommy" and of course I told him yes he did.

A pile of dark redish-brownish hair. . . I think it actually looks much lighter now after the cut. We shall see what it does.

Aww he does look handsome! Was it the magic words that you used that made him let you? "Daddy"
