Grocery Shopping

This morning I made a short list for the grocery store. When we were ready to leave I went to grab the list.

Someone added a few items

I am sure you can guess it was Caylea :) I don't think that the poor child will ever have too many animals. Unfortunately for her she was born to parents who think two dogs is perfect!

Yesterday was "Friend Day" at church. Caylea invited our neighbor Saniyah.

Anthony and I during our "Friend Day" lunch at church

Last night I had to stay late after church to work on something. Caylea stayed with me. After we left there we went to McAlisters for dinner. I had a great time hanging with my precious oldest daughter!

These are phone camera pic's again. . .didn't really take any other pictures this week :)

Friday Sci-Port Trip

Yesterday the kids and I headed over to Shreveport to visit my Chiropractor and then we hit the Sci-port.

The girls were so excited when a lady that worked there asked if they wanted their face's painted. It was so cute watching them just chat with her while they picked out their designs. I think each of them got no less than 4 little paintings on their hands, arms or face.

I loved Carolina's little face she wanted to be a pink bunny and here she is a little pink bunny.

Daddy surprised us by coming and hanging with us. It was nice having him there with us. Most of the time I take the kids there I am by myself with them. I enjoyed watching the kids excitement wanting to show their Daddy their favorite things.

Caden and Anthony putting the pipes together to make things run.

Caylea showing her Dad her favorite planet Saturn. She likes it because of the rings.

One of the kids favorite things to do now is to make paper air plans and fly them. This thing shoots them far!

The weather was so nice last night and today. Last night the kids went out to play and were so excited to be met by their friend Sanyah.

Today Anthony and I worked on the garage. It looks so much better. It will look even better once we get some more things out. We have a lot of stuff to take to the providence house but they were closed today so it will wait til Monday. We placed all of the tubs in the attic. Of course I have clothes for my sister that Carolina and Caden have outgrown and I am not sure when/if they will ever make it to Oklahoma. The kids were excited because Daddy found their picnic table that was way back behind some things. They played in the backyard and out front with us all morning/afternoon. It was just a lovely way to spend our Saturday!

Thankful flowers

I was cleaning out a bag this morning so that we could take some things for the girls to do up at the church while I was making copies. I was so excited when I found a treasure! I remembered the girls doing these flowers when we were in Oklahoma during October. I think Amanda and Aaron had children's church. I have Caden's scribbled page also but I haven't scanned it yet.

I love these! My kids rock!

I am trying to scan the pages that I really love that the kids have colored remember Carolina's vampire she colored at church. lol I keep almost all of their papers anyways. . .it is going to be hard for them to find the really great one's in all the mess! lol

***Notice she is thankful for Mommy 2 times****

Love it!

Caylea's Thankful flower

I bought Caylea an alarm clock last night and we talked about how I was going to set it for 8 and they were both to get up and get dressed, put away their dirty clothes and brush their teeth and hair. I set my alarm for 8:15 every morning and I fully expected for my alarm to go off and for the girls to still be in bed with their alarm blaring.

I was amazed when I woke up to my girls standing by my bed before 8:15 telling me they were ready for breakfast. I sure hope this sticks we were able to get school started by 9 and be (partially) done by 12. Caylea worked so quickly today!

So we stopped at 12 and had lunch. We had plans to meet our Pastor at the church at 2. He has offered to take Caden with him running around while I am working on some office work for a few hours on Thursday afternoons. Caden woke up this morning and was excited all day! He loves his Brother David!

Caylea and Carolina do well with me up there. When I was taking Caden he was getting into things he shouldn't of. . .in the kitchen and in the classrooms.

In the afternoons Caylea has to do her reading, write in her journal and work on math(practice) on her computer.

So besides doing that the girls play the DS, play games on their computer and play in on of the classrooms and nursery.

Today went especially well I was able to work for 3 hours and I am officially all caught up on the booklets. Next week Brother David said he would have some other things ready for me to work on (and get the booklets made that the guys use Tuesday).

Anyways tomorrow is Friday we are going to have a field trip day and go to the Sci-Port. Caylea has been wanting to go but we didn't make it last week so tomorrow is her day! I am also going to the chiropractor! YAY I love those days! I always feel so much better after I go. I have been having problems with my back every since we moved. I think it's those boxes I always lift things that are way too heavy and I know I don't lift right. Well I am just thankful that the chiropractor helps a lot! In fact I was going every week before Thanksgiving. Then I didn't go for 6 weeks. . .needless to say that was my mistake and I can't wait to be pain free again! I probably don't really have to go every week once I get it back under control but until then . . .

My two youngest are sleeping right now! YAY! My oldest is brushing/fixing my hair! So I am off of here so I can enjoy her company! Night!

Science Museum with Cousins

A few days before we left Oklahoma we went to the Science Museum. The kids had the choice of visiting the zoo again or going to the Museum. I was surprised that they didn't chose the zoo because we have the Sci-Port here in Louisiana but we do not have a zoo close by.

It was a good time and fun was had by all.

I am missing my family right now. It is so weird for me because I literally could pack up anytime and go to Oklahoma but I really can't. Meaning it is possible for me to just decide to pack us all up and drive to my Mom's. However because our life is here I really can't just do that whenever I want. It's a weird place to be.

Everyone here is adjusting well. We are all establishing new friendships. Of course we miss our our family and friends in Oklahoma. God is so good to us and has blessed us greatly and for that we are thankful!

Can't visit Oklahoma without visiting the. . .

Most who know me can fill in that blank. Why it's the zoo of course.

The first week we were in town we had plans to meet my cousin at the zoo however I got sick so we had to change up the plans. The next week my sister Brandy and I met my cousins and their husbands ~ of course we brought all of our children with us ~ at the zoo.

It was such a beautiful day! Not only did the weather cooperate but the company was wonderful.

The kids also had an amazing time(which helps the adults have a good time)!

I can't wait to hang out with all of you guys again ~ Love you all!

Catching Up

Catching up! I still have several blogs to write about our trip to Oklahoma including pictures. However tonight I am going to catch up for this week.

My Daughter Carolina just walked into my room (she is suppose to be sleeping) she said "My teeth are tired, I am having a hard time talking" I said then go to sleep sweetie your not suppose to be talking anyways~ "okay"

She is so funny I took this tonight at Target

Anthony, Caden and our Pastor Brother David had plans for a "guys" night including coffee/choc. milk last night. So the girls wanted to have a girls night for us. So this evening I took them to see a movie.

Last winter my whole family spent time watching the Narnia movies. So I knew when I saw a new one had came out we needed to go. It was a great movie. My little Carolina sat in my lap the last part of the movie it was so super sweet. Making memories ~ I am so blessed!

After the movie the girls and I headed to their favorite place and the place they always choose McAlisters. They had the biggest plate of nachos I have ever seen and I had a yummy salad since I started Atkins back yesterday.

Thursday's I work for a couple of house up at the church making copies of booklets for the prison ministry. I am so glad that I can help. Anthony and several other guys and the Pastor go up to the Prison every Tuesday evening and minister to the inmates that are interested.

Our Pastor offered to take Caden out with him for a few hours. Caden had a blast and got a little spoiled lol. Anthony told me last night that the people up at the coffee shop got a kick out of meeting Caden. I am glad that he was good for Brother David. Caden loves him . . .the feeling I think is mutual.

The girls do well while I am making copies here is a picture of Caylea working on her math skills on her computer and Carolina playing Caylea's DS.

One morning last week Caden woke up and thought he would make himself some hot chocolate. It didn't go so well! I hope he learned his lesson he still talks about how he started a fire in the microwave.

I took this picture of Caden this morning. His Ipod was missing for about a month and he was oh so happy when we found it the other day. He has been listening to it non-stop every since.

Well bye for now from my happy little family!

*** Sorry about the quality of all of the pictures. . .they were all taken with my phone. . .I have gotten really lazy about taking real pictures***

A Lovely Visit

While we were in Oklahoma during Christmas we had plans to meet my cousin Monica for lunch. After lunch we went to her house to hang out and so that the kids could play. My Girls love love love Olivia my cousins daughter.

We hung out a few hours then I had to leave to make a trip to the grocery store. My girls decided they wanted to stay the night so I left them with plans to bring clothes back by after I went to the store.

I got a call that Caylea had changed her mind which I expected she hasn't stayed the night anywhere without me in a while. She does really well staying places as long as it's not staying the night.

Carolina decided to stay and I hear she did great. She had second thoughts around bed time but no crying like she did last time she stayed the night with her cousin. So I was proud of my little lady!

Here is a few pictures of my kids with Olivia

A video of them singing karaoke

I ended up meeting my cousin the next day for lunch to pick up Carolina so it worked out wonderfully!

We all really enjoyed our visit with Monica and Livi!

Carolina skip counting

I bought Caylea the skip counting CD that Math-U-See made when I bought her curriculum last year. Carolina loves the skip counting by 3's song. . .

We are still trying to decide if we are homeschooling next year or not. I am so torn. . .one minute I am sure homeschooling is the way to go and the next I think school would be great for them. I would appreciate all the prayers on the subject that I can get. I just want peace about the decision. Thank you so much!

Christmas Day

Christmas Eve night we stayed the night with Anthony's cousin Melissa and her husband Daniel. Daniel helped Anthony(or maybe the other way around) put a doll house together that they got for the girls.

My kids were up late so they had to be woken up on Christmas morning. They were still half asleep when they came out of Taylor's room. The girls were in shock not believing that the doll house was actually for them. Caden just said that is not for boys (that is his big thing right now!) I showed him his Truck and he was happy!

The girls amazed by the doll house

It was such a fun time watching all the presents being opened, spending time with family and remembering the reason for the season!

~Thanking God for all of his many blessings!~

When we were done we cleaned up the best we could as Daniel and Melissa had plans to go one place and Patsy was going to her Mom's.

We decided to go by Anthony's Grandma Ina's house before going to Anthony's parents house since we had time.

We had a wonderful lunch prepared by Ellen at Charles and Ellen's. We got to see and spend time with Anthony's sister Rachel, her three girls, Ellen's brother Steve and Anthony's parents Charles and Ellen.

It was a great Christmas!

Family made the day so special!
