Christmas Party

Anthony's Christmas party for work was on December 11. It was in Lafayette, LA about 3 hours south of us. Anthony's parents came down to watch the kids for us. We left early Saturday morning and drove down there. Got there around noon. The guys met in the Lobby to go play golf. The ladies met a little while after that I am thinking it was 1 maybe.

We (the wives) went to lunch and then did a little (window) shopping. It was a really nicer time. I was concerned because well I am shy however the ladies were so nice and friendly.

That night Anthony and I met up with the other couples at Micah's (Anthony's Boss) house. We all chatted then we went to eat at Prejauns. I tried many new things including gumbo and fried crawfish. Everything I tried was wonderful. The Gumbo was probably the only thing I didn't love!

It was a great night however that night Anthony started feeling sick and I did also. It ended up that he had strep and I had the flu.

All things considered it was a wonderful weekend. The kids had a great time with their grandparents and they got to make Christmas cookies! So very fun for them!
