Four years of first days in one photo! When I went back and looked at these pictures, because I am sentimental like that, I couldn't believe how much my kids have grown in 3 years! I am trying not to think what they will look like in 3 more years!
When it comes to the past and things like this what it always boils down to is memories of Brandy. She felt like such a real part of our lives in 2011. Even in 2012 however 2012 this was just a few weeks after the last time we saw her. So then I think about how much my kids have changed since then. How much of her love they have missed. Then I think think how much her babies have changed and it kind of snow balls from there. So that is why I do not blog much anymore. Sitting and just thinking are not really my thing anymore. I downloaded the timehop app on my phone and it kinda breaks my heart almost everyday. These are things we get through and learn to smile and file it back deep down inside. But they hurt and the tears burn still the same. It's not like I don't think of her everyday anyways. I just normally chose not to sit down and think a lot about it because of the pain in my heart.
I am so proud of these kids. I happen to think they are all three just beautiful!! Inside and out!
6th grade for Caylea! Wow how can that even be? So thankful we are at ECA because I could not imagine putting this precious girl into middle school this year!
Third grade for Carolina! I felt Caylea was so big and mature the year she started at Stockwell! That was 3rd grade for her. I still think of Carolina is tiny.
Oh and the baby boy! I do not think it hit me until today (the second day of school) that he was actually in 2nd grade! How is he so big? I am so thankful I think all of the consistency and sticking with it are playing a big roll in his training and he is controlling his boyish behaviors so much better! He isn't perfect but he is coming right along and I am so very proud of he is!!
Really I am so proud of who all of my children are! I had more than one life guard mention to me this summer how respectful and what sweet hearts my kids have. Also how they spoke to others just wasn't heard of very often anymore. It made me so happy each time it came up in our conversation. I don't always see these things in them so I am glad they use their manners and words when I am not around!
This is my new first grade class! I have Sarah, my niece, JJ a friend from church and Mia, who is a student from last years little sister. The rest were all new. I have to say I have a very sweet group though!
Last year Caylea had only 3 girls in her whole class and 0 boys! This year she has 4 other girls and 5 boys! There are 10 students big difference. I think last year was a great year for her and this year will be also!
Carolina with Hannah and her new friend.
This is the 2nd grade class this year. I had all of these students except one. Also one did not come back this year. I love these kids and I love getting hugs from them all when I see them at school! Such precious little kiddos!
