Bubba is walking. . .Finally

My family and I have had a great week. Friday night we went to a get together for the young married class at our church it was very nice to hang/laugh/learn with our friends. While we were there Anthony's parents watched the children for us. They had a great time which I knew they would. Saturday was the football game we had a few family and friends over and just hung out and watched (well some of them watched) the game. Sunday was church it is always nice to be with my church family and fellowship and praise God. So Sunday night we went to my sisters house to hang out and have some dinner. Caden started walking (that is without being bribed with food)he still chooses to crawl mostly but I am just happy to see that he is making progress.

Okay well Monday was the dreadded day it was the day to start going thru and pulling out the fall/winter clothes for the kids and packing away the summer clothes. It is a big job with 3 kids getting it all done I worked on it all evening and still really only made a dent in Carolina's. It is kinda hard to get it all done though until you know for sure the heat is gone. I am thinking though it's pretty safe to get some of it put away because we do after all need some jeans and long pants out for sure already.

Today was a great day we just hung around and encouraged the bubba boy to walk :) Then we spent a lot of the afternoon at the grocery store. It seriously takes me a good 2 - 2 1/2 hours to get groceries. I have a list and everything but checking every label every time just adds time to grabbing an item and moving on. The kids were tuckered out so I got them in bed, had a chat on the phone with a friend and then got Caylea working on her school work and read with her.

This evening was great Anthony grilled outside so we all got to spend a little time in the back yard with daddy. Then after dinner we came in and played for a while before baths and bed.

Our wednesday's are a bit long b/c we go to my mom's for the day and this week we are going to the library before church with a friend then we have light brigade. It sure does make for a long but wonderful day. I am so proud of my Caylea she has memorized 2 verses this week. Carolina is not doing as well with her memory work even though we are going thru her verse 2 times a day everyday. I am sure soon it will click with her as she is not quite 3 yet.

Well that is all the update on us I have for now. I am so excited to have started this blog and I hope to keep up with it posting at least a few times a week.
