Caylea is taking great pride in her care taking responsibilities right now. She feeds Angel and gives her fresh water several times a day. She watches for her to be sniffing around so that she can take her outside on her leach and is learning not to pull on her. She wants Angel to love her so much. The sad part is right now Angel wants gentle hands holding her so she prefers Anthony and I. We let the girls play with her for a time then we give the poor puppy a break and make them leave her alone.
Caylea wants Angel to sleep with her so bad right now Daddy is winning that battle so even though I would rather the puppy not sleep in my bed that is where she has been. I am hoping that we crate train her when she is a little older but from what I have read she needs to be at least 7-12 weeks to start. So we have her crate for her and she does go in there some to rest right now but doesn't sleep in there at night. When we left this morning for church we put up a baby gate in the kitchen and her crate is in there and food and water. She didn't pee in there but she did poo and she also thru up I am assuming from being scared b/c she was alone. I feel bad that we have to leave her again tonight but we can't take her to church with us.
Carolina is loving her it was kinda funny now that it's over (not so much at the time). When we went to pick up Angel we all held her except Carolina (and Caden - but he gave her a hug). When we got home we put her in the floor to let her walk around some and Carolina flipped out. Carolina has always been scared of dogs I mean to the point of turning as white as a ghost and screaming her head off. So picture a 3 year old running away from a tiny 5 week old puppy screaming she is going to bite me. She seriously cried and made Anthony or I hold her for a good 10 minutes. She got over it though and is doing better thankfully.
The only reason we didn't wait until Christmas is because Patsy had to work the night we were going to pick her up and Anthony said lets just take the kids with us and bring her home. Looking at it now it's probably a good thing because she is so small I didn't realize how much work she was going to be I would of felt bad. I was thinking just keeping a dog not feeding several times a day, taking out every few hours, holding almost constantly. Not that we mind like I said we love her to death but it is a lot of work.
Well here are a few pic's of Angel and the kids. Two of my nieces came over Friday to play their names are Sarah and Briannah. Super sweet girls and we had a great day!

I just wanted to mention one more thing on each of my blogs for now on until Ashley is better I am going to post her link and ask for anyone who reads to pray for this family. Ash and her family are back in Omaha now getting settled back into the hospital. http://ashleyadamsjournal.blogspot.com/
