The kids and I went to my sister Brandy's house on Thursday to paint picture frames for Mother's Day. They had so much fun! Well Caden and Sarah didn't care to even try. I made Caden paint a little though. They hated it all but especially the hand print part! OH Poor Sam hated it when Aunt Chan painted his hand for the prints. He kept saying dirty. . .dirty. Poor guy!
Thursday night was my monthly Ladies Bunco night. So much fun. It's always a great time. I didn't join when they first started last year because I couldn't bring myself to leave my 6 month old as I was still nursing. Late at the end of the year we had a few ladies who couldn't come anymore so since I wasn't nursing anymore I gave it a try. I love it. . .I have a hard time in bigger groups sometimes. I think it is good for me to get out there and also to get a break from just being mom 100% of the time. I feel very blessed to get to be part of a great group of ladies who know how to laugh and have a great time in a Godly manner.
Caylea said today was the best day ever! Charity came over to play while her mom worked that was just about all she probably needed to have a great day. Even though that was all she needed she got more. Aunt Brandy, Elijah and Sarah came by to play for a few hours. Then after Ivy (her friend from across the street) got home from school she came over to play. Caylea got her fill of dress up, barbies, cooking, babies, polly pocket and outside play today. Needless to say my daughter was out as soon as her head hit the pillow tonight :)
