Big Day

I was up late the night before last and sent out a few e-mails. One of the e-mail's I sent was to our Ped. as Carolina's Aunt Patsy has mentioned to me a few times that she was concerned about a few things that she saw in Carolina and thought there might be an issue. So I e-mailed our Ped. Dr. S whom we love so much! He has been seeing my children since right before Caylea's first Birthday. He NEVER medicates unless absolutely necessary and is all about letting children have natural (safe) consequences which is something I have adopted as best I can since I am naturally WAY OVER PROTECTIVE!



Anyways Dr. S wanted to see Carolina today and do a few tests to rule anything out. This morning we went there Carolina did very well with the first test. However when it came time for the blood draw. . .lets just saw Carolina felt as though her world was ending. I made the mistake of telling her right before we went in thinking if she were prepared she would do better. Not so much! She is still babying her arm as I type this acting like her elbow is broken. She will not let me take the bandage off . . .I think if she would let me remove it she would forget about it quicker.



So the good news is the worst of two things he was concerned about is not the issue. We have to wait on the other results but he thinks Carolina is just Carolina and she is fine. We won't worry until we are given something to worry about.



Since Carolina had such a rough time she wanted popcorn. Keep in mind this was in the morning so we went to Target to get some for the poor little lady. After that we decided to make a trip to lake Hefner for a walk and then some play time at the park. It was so beautiful outside! I think my little Caden boy is needing a bike though. This was the first time he did not sit contently in the stroller the whole walk.



After the lake we were driving home and passed by the exit to academy Caylea has been needing new shoes. She wanted sketchers so we stopped found her a pair she loves. While we were there I found a pair of sketchers for Caden that were 1/2 price for when we move him up to a size 8. They are very similar to the one's we just bought for him in a size 7. Great deal!



So that was our day. We then came home Caylea and I started her schooling for the day . . .I paid bills and Anthony picked up dinner on his way home. Now it's time to relax and hang out with my family!
