Friday we picked the girls up from school at lunch and headed down to Lafayette to visit friends. We went to Karen and Carl's house to catch up for a bit before we went out to dinner Friday evening.
Caylea, Carolina, Caden with Karen
Saturday morning we met some more friends. Casey and his family at Avery Island. Somehow I did not get one single picture of them. They have a baby Maddox, who is 1 year old. Such a cute baby.
Caylea, Carolina and Caden in front of the sign at the Tabasco plant. We really enjoyed our "tour".
Caden trying to steal the pepper from the fish. . .HA! HA!
Ready to check out the gift shop.
Caden had a few samples of Tabasco ice cream. No one else wanted to finish theirs so he was happy to help us out!
Caylea and Carolina chose Tabasco bears at the gift shop.
Caden chose Tabasco boxers. I wish we had gotten him two pair I have to wrestle them off of him every day to wash them. Silly boy!
On Avery Island there is also a place called Jungle Gardens. It has a bird sanctuary on it and so much beauty. I hope sometime we can go back in the spring when everything is blooming.
Part of the time we rode around in the truck. Caden looking out the window. . .
Anthony and the kids on a bridge by the 900 year old buddest temple.
So beautiful there. I can only imagine what it looks like in the spring!
The kids running down to the bird sancuary
I am not sure what I was thinking but now I am a little freaked out that we let the kids run around everywhere when there were alligators uncaged just anywhere they wanted to be.
