Is it really 80 degree's?

This was the question that my 5 year old asked me when we got in the van after our zoo trip yesterday. It was the most beautiful 80 degree day in January that I have ever spent at the zoo. In all honestly I know that it really wasn't 80 degree's but it was close that is just what the van said (after sitting in the sun all afternoon).

This same 5 year old also told me after I asked her "how did you get so smart?" ~ "you made me smart momma" then she said "because you always help me with my home school." That made me feel pretty good about being a home school mom (even though we are still one day behind - since before Christmas)

We had a great time at the zoo yesterday we were joined by Charity (who's mommy had to work but hopefully Mrs. Heather can join us next time) we were so glad that Charity got to come with us though. Also Auntie Brandy, Elijah and Sarah came along. Of course you can't leave out Auntie Amanda, Sam and you can count the little baby in Amanda's tummy if you want I can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew :) And Mrs. Rogena and her babies Abbi, Austin and Erick joined us along with their friend Lauren. Most defiantly I loved the day. I am hoping for a lot more days just like it really really soon!!!
