Here we go. . .to camp Walaballa

The kids at church have been working hard on a play called "Camp Walaballa" for several months. They preformed it last night and I think they all did a great job. Joshua had a ton of lines and he was sick the night before and that morning yet somehow he preformed great! Carolina was making faces towards the end then at the very end she kept falling asleep and then she would jerk and wake herself up. I was thinking I was going to be picking her up off of the floor by the time it was over. I had a teen age girl pull her by her so if she feel asleep she wouldn't fall off of the stage. That would of hurt. Caylea got an award I didn't even know she was getting one. Patsy said it was because a child as young as Caylea has never asked for a part before and then paid attention and did so great doing her part. Caylea was so excited to get her part and to also get her award. I think there were tears in her mommy and daddy's eyes. It's safe to say that we were very proud of her!

Joshua and the kids singing "I can do all things"

Caylea reading her part in the play

This is the song that Carolina kept falling asleep to. The last two times she scared me enough to make me jump up to grab her.

Caden and Cars

Caden turns two on Thursday. His grandparents are going out of town and are going to be gone for his party so they brought over his present. It was a cars rug. My son loves "Cars" He does not sit and watch anything for any amount of time except that movie. His Daddy and I decided to buy him the toddler bedding for his birthday. He is so happy in his little room put together just for him. Now if we can just get him to stay in his bed all night. . .LOL

A few words and several pictures

I took my kids to the spray park yesterday. They love the spray park and enjoy it every time we go whether it is busy or we are the only one's there. It just happened that yesterday we were the only one's there.

That is besides my family, Isaac, Katybug, Brandy and her kids and Amanda and her two children. It was Sarah's first time to get to play. She loved it she crawled around the whole thing for quite some time and would of been so happy to do it all day I think.

It was also Lizzy's first time to go to the spray park. I am not sure but I think that she enjoyed it too as she slept thru it :) Also Samuel played in the water for the first time with his momma. I even took Caden, Katelyn and Sam with me and ran thru it for myself for the first time. I am glad we take so many towels with us as I was soaked.

This morning we got up and had breakfast. After that we headed outside to play in the sprinkler. Caylea, Isaac and Carolina enjoyed their scooters also. Then the kids played on the swing set and had a Popsicle. The rest of the day flew by.

Isaac and Katelyn's Mom and Dad are coming home tomorrow. Although they have done wonderfully this week I am 100% sure that they will so super excited to see their family and get to go to their home. They are such sweet kids and I feel blessed to have gotten so spend so much time with them this week. It was defiantly a busy week but lots of fun.

Bits and pieces. . . of our week

Caylea kissing on Lizzy

Ni-Na loving on Lizzy

Caden boy looking so sweet

My buddy Elijah

Sweet Sarah

Sam kissing his baby sister

Lizzy

You can tell she was so thrilled to have her picture taken :)

I took some pictures of the kids on Monday while I was hanging out with my sisters. I am not thrilled with the way they turned out. After doing a little research I think I need to turn my flash down and use it to fill in the shadows but hopefully not drown the picture with too much light. I need to pull out my camera manual and mess with it some. The above pictures were taken only with natual light no flash. (obviously not enough natural light)

Tuesday we went to the spray park with some friends. A few of the pictures I took I thought turned out especially well. After the spray park we took all of the hungry kids to McDonalds and let them play and eat while we ate and chatted. Then it was our separate ways for naps.

This is funny Anthony kept spraying the door . . .lol

I took this picture Wednesday morning. We stayed home all day on Wednesday . . .I cleaned most of the morning and the kids played around the house. The girls are especially into playing with some polly pocket stuff that Taylor gave Caylea and Caden loved these trains.

Thursday I went to my sisters and helped her out some then we all went to my mom's for most of the day. I got to give Lizzy her first bath *not counting sponge baths of course* she did so well the whole time till we went to take the video then she started crying to the video got cut short. I love the way little babies smell after a nice bath and some lotion. :)

Friday was a busy day we meet Brandy, Elijah, Sarah and Sam at the spray park and we had Gabriel with us. The kids have so much fun up there it is soo great to watch them enjoy themselves like that! We then came home, had lunch and headed to the pool to meet the kids grandma Ina. It was interesting b/c after about 30 minutes Caden's head was so hot. So I thought crap he is sick and got out with him and Gabriel and got them dressed only to feel him after that and he was not hot at all. Ina had felt him and all of the other kids and had agreed with me that he felt really hot. I am not quite sure what was up with that but he is not sick. Also after I got out Carolina climbed out of the pool and feel and hit her head on the tile. It made a small goose egg . . .thankfully it quickly went down and she is fine.

Then last night I was talking on the phone with Anthony's Aunt Patsy and Caden was pulling one of the dinning room chairs I saw him so I was going over to get it but before I could get to him he dropped it back on his big toe. :( I took this picture this morning I had cleaned it up last night but sometime in the night he must of hit it or something and made it bleed again. His toe looks a little better to me now (with the blood washed off and all) but it is quite bruised under the nail. I think he is probably going to loose the nail eventually. :(

This morning while Anthony was gone we worked on our Father's Day craft. I will share pictures later as I don't want to ruin it for the kids. They are pretty excited about what they made :)
