Elizabeth Renee' Mendoza is here she weighed 8 lbs and 8 oz and is 20 inches long.
Amanda is tired of course but doing well. Elizabeth is having a few breathing issues. She went to the NICU to be watched they are not doing anything treatment wise. They are taking x-rays just to make sure it is only fluid on the lungs. The did a culture for group B strep also but since she was born c-section that probably isn't a concern.
Carolina did this same thing she was in the NICU for 5 days we are praying that little Elizabeth transitions quicker than that because for a mommy it's pretty hard to see your newborn in the NICU and also to not have any idea what is going on or say so in caring for your baby. Unfortunately this happens sometimes with c-sections and thankfully we have really good trained doctors and nurses that can get these babies well fairly quickly!
We appreciate any prayers that can be offered up on Elizabeth's behalf and also on Amanda's healing time. She has Sam also to care for so prayers that she heals quickly and without any complications I am sure would be much appreciated.

She is such a cutie! I can't wait to see her in person! Of course, we are praying for her and the rest of the family.
She is beautiful! Can't wait to get a chance to hold her. Will pray for Amanda and Elizabeth.
