Caden's 4th Birthday

Caden's birthday is July 2. He turned 4 while we were in Oklahoma. On his birthday we celebrated a very special little boy's 1st Birthday. Brik was born very premature and spent quite some time in the NICU. He fought long and hard and with the help of God, the doctors, nurses and his wonderful Mommy and Daddy he was strong enough to have a birthday party. His actual birthday was in April however it was RSV season so we got to meet him in July which is when his actual due date was.

He is such a special guy and I love him so much. I have spent so much time praying for him. It makes you feel closer to people when you pray for them I believe I feel this way about many people but especially Brik and Ashley (http://ashleyadamsjournal.blogspot.com/)











After Brik's party we headed to the mall because Caden wanted to go see Cars 2 for his birthday. What a big boy he is becoming. I just love this little guy so much. He has got this personality that people just seem to be drawn to. It's so very cute! He can just carry on conversations with anyone anytime anywhere. It's so darn great to watch!




After the movie we went to hang out with some amazing friends. We spent the evening just chatting and catching up. It was really a great time. The kids did great as well. You know sometimes when you get a bunch of kids together there is a bunch of fighting and problems. This was not the case they had so much fun. . .not that Caden didn't find his way into some trouble because if I remember correctly he sure did. I love my rotten boy even though sometimes I wonder what goes through that mind of his!!
