Turner Falls ~ Picture Overload!

On our trip to Oklahoma we stopped at Turner Falls. It was such a nice trip. The only negative thing about it was um. . .yeah the heat!!!

A few group shots. . .I wish we had been able to take a picture of the whole group.

The kids with their Great Grandma Ina

My 3 blessings!

Auntie Brandy and Caden

Our Friend Shirley and her youngest son Lucas

Shirley's oldest son Dante

Snorkel boy Elijah :)

A few of our little boys decided to climb up this rock by the falls. I was so excited that I finally get to be the cool Aunt that does fun things with them. I loved it! It seems generally I am the most cautious parent around. (this might be changing due to my kids getting a little older ~ Brandy and Amanda still have very young one's. This day I got to be the one to say it will be okay I will go with them or grab them if they get scared. I loved it! It was great to let go and just have fun! ~~And guess what? The best part :) we all survived it!!!~~~

A little swimming hole. . .by some very slippery rocks that several of us adults sat on (including myself whom will not get into water such as this above about my middle thigh. . .they are the same rocks that most everyone slipped on at least a little. Some of us fell :( Thankfully my camera was not harmed in this little fall. . .however I can't say the same thing for my shin! OUCH!

The last thing we did was "The Blue Hole" I didn't really get pictures just those videos that are here http://chans3.blogspot.com/2011/07/turner-falls-videos.html

I can't wait to go back again. Hopefully in September when it is a bit cooler.

Here is the post I posted from last September the first time the kids and I went there. http://chans3.blogspot.com/2010/09/turner-falls.html
