Highlights

Thursday night Anthony told Caden he would wrestle with the boys after dinner.  I don't think Anthony knew what he was getting himself into.  Sarah is a good little pouncer (I know that is probably not a word but I think you know what I mean).  She kinda reminds me of my little Carolina.  Tough little ladies!

Before bed Elijah and Sarah got to talk to their Nana, Pops, Uncle Bryce and baby brother Caleb on Skype.   They loved it.  The kids have done really really good considering that their parents have been gone for over a week now.  Elijah has had wonderful behavior.  I mean they are kids so they have their little squabbles but nothing major.  Sarah has had a few moments that breaks my heart.  Where she verbalizes how much she misses her Mom and Dad and wants to go home to her "comfy bed".

Friday Elijah, Caden, Sarah and I were up at the school working the stallion store.  I got a call from the school nurse.  ( I dare to say that I have probably gotten more calls from the school nurse than anyone at the school ~ maybe not but I have gotten no fewer than 15-20 the first semester between the girls.  Most of them were Caylea a rash, hives, soar throat or upset stomach. . .a few of them were just trying to figure out how things work but most of them were allergy related. . .Carolina had a bloody nose and then the call this day. )

Carolina got to go to a Woo Hoo party for having a perfect report card.  All S's YAY!  Carolina we are so proud of you!  You are a very smart girl and I think maybe the sweetest little girl I know!  Your daddy and I love you so much and are so blessed to have you.

So the call from the nurse was because during Carolina's "Pop & Play" she collided with a little boy.  Her mouth hit his head.  She said he didn't even cry but her tooth was hanging down.  Thankfully it was a baby tooth.  It wasn't very loose but it was a little loose so she must of hit it on his head pretty hard.  I can not believe he didn't cry!  I just felt her teeth the night before.  She had two loose one's but neither were very loose.  So Carolina had blood all over her shirt and a fat lip however she wanted to stay at school and have her pop and snack with the others in the class that got a perfect report card.

So we borrowed a shirt from the donation closet & the nurse put her tooth in a tooth necklace.  Carolina was a happy camper!

I almost forgot Carolina pulled the tooth by herself.  The school nurse can not do that kind of thing and she wouldn't let me.  I told her she could do it if she wanted but we couldn't leave it hanging.  (I was worried she would swallow it!)  She just pulled it out no problem once she got it in her head that that is what she was going to do!

The kids were fixing to play the wii and wanted to check the weather in Brazil where Brandy and Chris are.  They were so excited to find it.

Friday night around here is game night.  Sometimes it's board games & sometimes it's the wii.  We always find a way to have fun and be in the same room together.   Tonight while the kids were playing on the Wii and taking turns.  Caylea wanted to play with her nook.  Since school started back after Christmas she has had very little time to play it.  (we don't allow video games during the school week)  Anyways I was very excited to see that we can put our netflix on it and Caylea can watch a movie on it.  She knows that each and every movie has to be mom or dad approved and she is only allowed to watch them in the living room.

Carolina and Elijah loved playing Super Mario Brothers 1 and 3 are their favorites.  Elijah also enjoys excitebike.

In fact right now the kids are all playing Smurf Dance Party while I type this.  Nice way to get some exercise and have some fun!

It is no secret in my house that Anthony is the "good cook" he is also the fun smoothie maker.  The kids really enjoyed some fruit smoothies last night! I bought a lot of frozen fruit at the store yesterday because this morning I started a 3 day shake/green tea/ grilled chicken salad for dinner diet.  Hopefully this will get me back on track after the holiday's.  Of course the kids did not have to have yucky protein powder in their smoothies.

Carolina has made a few negative comments about her reading skills so to boost her confidence we went over some of her homework from last week on Saturday night.  She does great ~ I mean really she made all S's on her report card after all!

So since I was in the mood for review Caylea and I did all her multiplication cards (I let her pass on the 12's) (at school they have only done 2, 3, 4, 5 & 9's but she knows the others because of a wonderful skip counting cd we have from our homeschooling stuff ~ I figure the practice won't hurt her!)  We also went over 1/2 of our addition and subtraction.  Only 1/2 because she wanted to go play with her siblings and cousins.  (and because of the awesome mom I am I allowed that!) :)

Something else is going on today that I won't share on here but if you could just keep my family in your prayers as we start a chapter in our lives I would greatly appreciate that!
