Last Wednesday Started off with a workout. I met some friends at the gym for Zumba it was my second class and needless to say I am not better at dancing than the first time!
I hurried home after Zumba and barely beat my friend Rae to my house. She had been on vacation and at her sister in law's house in Longview which is only about an hour and an half from here.
We talked for a while while the kids played and then I jumped in the shower (you know because I had been at zumba which meant that I was STINKY!!!)
We then headed to lunch at one of my favorite places to eat around here Trejos. We had a very nice lunch with these 5 kiddos. My girls were at school at this time.
Rae and I at the park. . not sure if her son Isaac or my son Caden took this picture they both shot a few. Most were pretty blurry but even though Rae has hair in her face and it's not the most flattering angle for my chubby chin I think it turned out pretty good :)
Katelyn, Isaac, Caden and Elijah on top of one of the big rocks for climbing. I use to call them rock walls but they are not really. Whatever they are the kids love them and all 3 times we have visited this park my kids have spent a large amount of the time we are there on these things.
So much fun and my kids aren't the only one's that loved them Rae's kids did too!
Katelyn enjoying one of the rocks
My son is so funny! I have so many great pictures of him from that day. . . He had so much fun and really enjoyed himself!
Speaking of fun Elijah really enjoyed this rock also! He and Isaac played really good together all day! I think Elijah really enjoyed having an older boy around it's just been him and Caden.
Sweet Sarah wasn't really into the rocks which was great with me because I would of had to discourage that one for sure! She loved the sand though. Such a cute little princess!
We then went back to my house to meet the girls at the bus. Katelyn and Isaac really wanted to take Tiger and Misty out to meet them so we did. They were all so happy to see each other it was so cute!
After the girls got home the kids all ran into the backyard to play. It was a beautiful 65 degree day here in N. Louisiana. The house was even hot and humid so we had to open up the windows to make it more comfortable.
Here is Katie bug enjoying the tree swing
Isaac in the jeep. . .he may of been a little too big for it but he managed. The kids loved racing down the hill in whatever they could find that would move.
Carolina and her little buddy Katelyn. They are so cute together that 18 month gap seems to be closing more the older they get!
Speaking of age gap you would not think that is one between Caylea and Isaac but Caylea is 8 months older than Isaac. Which when they were babies seemed like a whole bunch. However as they have gotten older really seems like nothing. I really think Isaac is mature for his age also which Caylea is too so they make good little buddies.
Rae and I spent the afternoon playing Farkle while the kids played in the backyard and had a few snacks. We called a place in town to see when they closed . . .and they closed at 7 so about 6 we had to pack everything up. I wanted to show her this place I get bows. I had only been there one other time but I wanted to go back I just don't go that way too often. They sale bows for $1. Nice big bows. They sale small one's also but I do not need those anymore. I don't remember what all Rae bought but I bought 8 bows, 3 belts (for the boys), 2 rings (the girls thought their teachers needed them) and 2 packages of big barrettes for less than $20. I would say that was a great deal!
Then it was time for Rae to go :( I won't see her again until March but we can call and text anytime.
To Rachael. Our Friendship has seen a lot of ups and downs but I think even though our relationship is different than it has ever been that it is stronger than ever. I am so thankful for you and how God has protected our friendship when it could of easily been destroyed. I feel with all of my heart that you will always be my best friend! Love you girl!
