We had a great time Sunday afternoon meeting our friends Leah and Aubrey at Critter Co. It is no secret that my Caylea loves animals. . .any animal. It seems as though she has found a friend Aubrey who loves animals just as much. In face Aubrey's mom Leah and I thought it was funny while we were at the park with the kids one day last week we realized we both promised our girls a bunny if/when they got honor roll!
Speaking of honor roll I so see Caylea making in next nine weeks. She has improved so much this year. From going to not really knowing how to test, not being able to concentrate, not having good study skills or even using her time wisely without my reminders to where she is now is amazing. It has been rough at times for me just letting go, relaxing and seeing how she does. Thankfully though we have an amazing teacher for her that has not only been wonderful with Caylea teaching her all of these things she has encouraged me also. Mostly just to be patient and just keeping on (Oh and not to be too hard on Caylea). I think Caylea and I will both always remember Mrs. Miller with great appreciation and love.
Oh and Caylea will be getting a BUG award at the assembly this 9 weeks. The first 9 weeks she got Star Student which was awesome I couldn't of been more proud of her! The second 9 weeks she is getting this award. It is for Bringing 2 grades up without any of the others dropping! :) YAY! Couldn't be more proud!
Aubrey, Caylea, Carolina, Caden, Sarah and Elijah at Critter Co checking out some cute puppies
Elijah wanted to hold this hamster. I picked it up held it for a few seconds it seemed calm and didn't bite me so I let him. Well a few seconds after this picture was taken it bit him. Thankfully it didn't break the skin but poor guy. Those things just aren't nice Carolina and Caden have both been bitten by hamsters in there and Caylea was bit by a ferret. So we usually stick with holding the bunnies, guinea pigs, kittens and sometimes a puppy.
Caylea holding a guinea pig. This one we nicknamed snickers because we thought he looked like a candy bar! Elijah was happy to pet him but did not want to hold him.
Carolina holding "snickers"
Caden holding "snickers" and as Nancy pointed out on facebook ~ They have matching hair! Too cute! :)
Sarah was happy and played the leapster most of the time. She really wanted little to do with an animal. I tried to get her to hold the bunny but she wouldn't. She was right next to me when Elijah got bit. He didn't cry but still I think she saw that was like NO THANK YOU!
Sarah petting "snickers" the guinea pig
This is the part where I take a picture of EVERYONE holding a dwarf bunny. I just think they are so very cute!

Caden awe this one just makes you want them both huh? :)
My son is hand sanitizer addicted ~ I kid you not when he is around the stuff it doesn't dry before he puts more on. I don't mind it one bit!
